ABPmer’s quality management system (QMS) is ISO 9001:2015 certified for the delivery of Environmental Consultancy and Research Services.
The QMS comprises a manual of procedures to ensure standards for company systems and capabilities, outputs and customer care. It is subject to a continual programme of external and internal audit.
All IT infrastructure is subject to Group corporate security standards including passwords for network accounts, application security profiles where appropriate and physical security for mission critical equipment.
Infrastructure security is administered by the IT Service Delivery team.
User operational security is prescribed in a Group internal code of conduct for computer use.
ABPmer’s information systems have been independently assessed to comply with UK Government’s Cyber Essentials standard (Registration Number QGCE1061).
IEMA, the worldwide alliance of environment and sustainability professionals, is an expert body in the field of environmental impact assessment (EIA).
IEMA awards their Quality Mark to UK developers and consultancies that effectively manage their EIA process, maintain staff capabilities relating to EIA development, present transparent, understandable assessment findings and take action to improve EIA practice.
The Institute reviews ABPmer annually to ensure we continue to deliver added value to clients. In our most recent assessment, IEMA commended ABPmer for “the thorough nature of assessing proposals” and “the recruitment of highly qualified staff with marine research backgrounds and support of graduates with work placements.”
Achilles, a global supply chain risk management company, validates and prequalifies the capability, competence and compliance in various areas for buying organisations to build a picture of the risks present within their supply chain.
An Achilles auditor annually assesses records and evidence of our policies, systems, and controls for quality, environment, sustainability, health and safety. At our last review we scored at least 92% for each element.
Avetta prequalifies and audits contractors as a means to manage supply chain risk. They make sure all compliance and regulatory requirements are active and up-to-date on behalf of buying organisations.
