ABP’s Sustainable Development team commissioned ABPmer to develop an online interactive data viewer to enable users to dynamically view, search, query, annotate, and print port specific infomaps.

This system, based on ESRI ArcGIS Server and Geocortex, was initially populated with environmental information such as designations, flood risk projections, and climate change scenarios but continues to expand with asset, property and customer information.

The Data team at ABPmer has been developing various web-based tools for sharing data in recent years – such as WebVISION, our interactive data and information portal. We have also been providing interactive maps for harbour authorities. This project brought these two services together in a decision support tool for ABP. By overlaying various layers of information, Port personnel are able to holistically understand a port’s operations and how it interacts with the surrounding environment.
