Marine Environmental Consultant (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic consultant to join our successful Environment Team. This technical role involves managing and contributing to a wide range of projects including marine policy and planning studies, and environmental impact assessments.

Key Tasks

  • Undertaking environmental literature reviews and assessments
  • Analysis and interpretation of data
  • To provide technical support on a wide range of projects
  • Contributing to strategic marine planning and policy studies
  • Report writing

Skills and experience

  • The preferred candidate must have a degree in an environmental discipline
  • Preferably 2 years’ relevant experience in a consultancy or regulatory background
  • Demonstrable track record in marine environmental assessments, policy and planning
  • The successful candidate is likely to be strongly self-motivated with the drive and determination to succeed in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent report writing skills
