About the roles
We are looking to develop and expand our team of modellers at our waterside offices in Southampton and have openings for enthusiastic candidates holding an interest in marine science.
Duties will include:
The successful candidate will have as a minimum a degree in Oceanography or other marine related science subject, be highly numerate, have strong analytical skills and be able to interpret their work for various clients. Technical skills and expertise in at least one area of waves, tides or sediment dynamics is expected. Additionally, candidates with MATLAB (or similar) experience, in addition to the competent use of Word and Excel, are particularly welcome.
Candidates will have demonstrated commercial experience of applying their modelling skills, ideally together with additional specialist areas of interest, for example sedimentation, thermal plume modelling, water quality modelling, oil spill modelling, coastal defence, overtopping, etc.
