New faces at ABPmer as order book expands
September 30, 2011
In the past 6 weeks, ABPmer has welcomed three new members of staff.
Alison Bear has joined the Modelling Team from Canterbury City Council where she worked previously as a coastal process scientist on the Strategic Regional Coastal Monitoring Project. Her specialist hydrodynamic skills will be employed in a wide range of projects undertaken by the team; she will initially be working on the Burbo and Walney offshore wind farm extension projects.
Hannah Bodley, an environmental scientist, has filled an appointment in the Environment Team. Hannah joins ABPmer from URS Scott Wilson. Her early work is focusing on marine protected areas.
Phoebe Lomax has also taken a seat in the Environment Team; she has in depth knowledge of biological interactions within the marine environment. Phoebe will be working primarily on Appropriate Assessments, Environmental Statements and Habitat Regulations Appraisals for maritime industries.
Bill Cooper, Managing Director said, “In spite of the downturn in the public sector, ABPmer continues to have an expanding order book to fulfil. I’d like to personally welcome Alison, Hannah and Phoebe to ABPmer. Each brings with them a unique skill set and we look forward to working with them to deliver projects across the marine sector.”
