New Publication Available for the Marine Renewable Industry

ABPmer continues to extend its expertise in supporting the development of the marine renewables industry. Following on from the highly successful Marine Renewables Atlas, ABPmer is  now  pleased to announce that CIRIA has recently published the "Guidelines for the use of metocean data through the lifecycle of a marine renewable development".  The guide has been co-authored by ABPmer, The Met Office and SeaRoc UK and generated considerable interest within the industry when it was presented at the 'Wave & Tidal Technologies Symposium 2007' last November. The guide represents the combined knowledge and practical expertise of the authors on the subject and is a culmination of their proactive initiative to provide practical support to the growing marine renewables industry.  Funding for the project was provided by The Crown Estate, Eon, Dong Energy and Scottish and Southern.  The document can be ordered directly from CIRIA at: http://www.ciria.org/acatalog/C666.html.
