Risk Management

ABPmer is a leading consultancy in applying risk management to the port and harbour industry. ABPmer’s Port Assessment Toolkit (developed through the MarNIS project) provides Harbour Authorities with the Tools to comply with the Port Marine Safety Code, the National framework for ensuring port risk is maintained as low as reasonably practicable.

The MarNIS Port Assessment Toolkit provides a pro-active approach to risk management, by allowing port authorities and Harbour Masters to demonstrate a transparent and auditable process for their port’s risk management. The Toolkit allows the linkage of accident and incident data with risk assessment creation and review, to provide a reflective system and underpin decision-making.

ABPmer’s in-depth knowledge of the Port Marine Safety Code, combined with our practical application of solutions for the port industry make us the first choice for developing your port’s Marine Safety Management System.
