New Team Faces

In recent months, we have seen new faces join all teams at ABP Marine Environmental Research (ABPmer).

Sarah Belcher has taken a Hydrographic Surveyor position in the Data team.  After completing a degree in Marine Biology at Newcastle University in 2006, Sarah worked for from Worthing Borough Council as a coastal surveyor where she was involved in shoreline monitoring in conjunction with the Southeast Regional Coastal Monitoring Programme.
Sara Grant has joined the Administration team where she will lead the streamlining of our archiving process.

Alison Houghton is a Senior Consultant in the Processes Team at ABPmer. Since completing her MSc in Oceanography at the University of Bordeaux, she has gained ten years research and commercial experience in the fields of coastal geomorphology, sediment dynamics and coastal management. In addition, Alison has considerable experience in the application of satellite data to the coastal management market. 

Heidi Tillin has joined the Environment Team, as a Researcher, from the University of Liverpool. She has a wide-ranging background in environmental science and archaeology although her main interests lie in marine policy and the assessment and management of marine benthic habitats. 

Baoxing Wang has joined the Modelling Team from the University of Plymouth. He brings with him a strong numerical background in nonlinear interactions of waves and currents with structures, and long-term shoreline simulation in the nearshore environments. Baoxing is contributing to a variety of projects throughout the ABPmer consultancy and research projects.
