ABPmer at the JDRF Walk

A team from ABPmer recently took part in the Walk To Cure Diabetes event held in Southampton. The eight strong team from ABPmer, along with family and friends, completed the 5mile course around Itchen Valley Country Park on the outskirts of Southampton. The day was in aid of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) which is a charity funding research into a cure for type one diabetes which affects over 20,000 children in the UK.

ABPmer’s team, kitted out in company branded t-shirts all completed the course and collected their medals at the finish. The team have so far raised over £370 for the cause. The donation website set up by the team is still online and available to take any donations.
